FAQ

What is Whispr?

Whispr is a premium anonymous voice-chat app. You press Start Talking, get anonymously matched, and talk for up to 90 seconds.

Is Whispr anonymous?

Whispr is designed without profiles, photos, followers, or direct messaging. The app uses anonymous authentication so conversations are not built around public identity.

Does Whispr store voice calls?

Whispr is built for live voice conversations. For current details about data handling, review the Privacy Policy or contact support.

Why does Whispr need microphone permission?

Microphone permission is required so you can speak during live voice conversations. You can manage this permission in your device settings.

How do I report someone?

Use the report option available in the app after or during a conversation. Reports help Whispr review behavior that may violate our Guidelines.

How do I block someone?

Use the block option in the app when you do not want to be connected with someone again where supported by the service.

How can I request data deletion?

Email support@getwhisprs.com with your data deletion request. Because Whispr uses anonymous authentication, we may need app or device information to locate related data.
